In central Oregon streams and rivers spring from the ground like magic. This particular spring is a favorite fishing hole. The pool reflects the green of the ponderosas standing tall behind the water. This fishing hole is off a gravel road, Brown's Creek Road, on the western shore of Wickiup Reservoir. It is a favorite place for local fishermen and women. I love the contrasting colors, and the way the ponderosa trees dwarf the fisherman and his camp chair. It is a rustic campground, worth the drive over the sometimes rough gravel road.
The painting may be yours framed or unframed, choose which option works for you. Click back and forth between the thumbnails to see unframed and framed options. You may choose between a natural and a black wood frame.
It measures 18 inches tall by 12 inches wide, the medium is acrylic paint on stretched canvas. The frame, if you choose that option, is made of wood, and the painting is ready to hang.
